SNK has released the patch notes for the latest update to Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, which arrives alongside the new character Blue Mary. This significant update introduces a brand-new stage and implements various adjustments for eight of the game's existing characters. Blue Mary, the third fighter to join the second season of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, is a specialist in Sambo. She is set to launch on March 26th, complete with her own story arc and availability in both Arcade and EOST modes.
Key Adjustments in the Blue Mary Update for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves
Beyond the individual character modifications, the Blue Mary update for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves also brings an enhancement to the EOST system's mobility. Players can now cancel a REV Parry directly into a REV Rush by inputting the →→ command, offering an additional execution option. Furthermore, bugs that prevented the completion of Intermediate Level 4 challenges for Preecha and Advanced Level 5 for Hokutomaru in Arcade mode have been rectified.
Here is a detailed list of the changes implemented for the game's characters:
| Character | Move / Section | Adjustment Detail |
| Nightmare Geese | Reppuken (Heavy Version) | On air hit, opponent's reaction changed from "Air Recovery" to "Knockdown with flight trajectory (Blowback)". |
| Andy Bogard | Zan-ei Shyo-dan-ken (Potential Version) | Guard Cancel version's performance adjusted to match the standard Potential version. |
| Zetsutou Kaimai | Fixed an error where chip damage varied depending on block distance. | |
| Salvatore Ganacce | Backstep | Fixed an error preventing low attack invulnerability from activating on specific frames. |
| Cristiano Ronaldo (CR7) | General Attributes | Fixed an error where chip damage varied inconsistently depending on guard distance. |
| Vox Reaper | Shockfall (Shougekiraku) | Fixed an error preventing the move from executing correctly under specific conditions. |
| Preecha | $P=mc^2$ | Fixed an error where the move did not activate or transition correctly under certain circumstances. |
| B. Jenet | Rolling Thunder | Resolved an error causing the opponent's attack to whiff if they responded with a REV Blow in specific situations. |
| Rock Howard | Rage Run (All versions) | Fixed an error preventing the command's input window from extending when the button was held down. |
| Reppuken / Shippuken (REV Versions) | Training mode exclusive adjustments to eliminate infinite combos: reduced hitstop of Reppuken's first hit and reduced hit/guard stun time of Shippuken. |
