Guinness World Records emphasized that this initiative highlights the growing role of cinematic collectibles in creating immersive experiences, offering audiences a distinctive way to celebrate the worlds and characters they cherish long after the credits roll.
The record was officially evaluated and confirmed on March 17 at 2:00 PM at the Universal Cinema AMC in Universal CityWalk Hollywood. A Guinness World Records judge verified the dimensions and capacity of the container. At its widest point, this popcorn holder measures a mere 6.6 cm and can accommodate approximately 5 to 11 popcorn kernels, making it the smallest functional container ever recorded.
This meticulously crafted miniature cauldron, a faithful replica of Bowser's tiny pot, serves as a delightful homage to the new film. The record-holding popcorn container will be available for purchase starting April 1st at participating cinemas, including AMC Theatres in the United States, Vue Cinemas in Taiwan, and Golden Screen Cinemas in Malaysia.
