AS newspaper hailed it as "a recital before the derby," acknowledging the growing momentum of Diego Simeone's team. Real Madrid sits second in the standings with 15 points. They secured a narrow 3-2 win against Elche in their last outing, with goals from Kylian Mbappé and Carlos Espi, plus an own goal from goalkeeper Matias Dituro.
