Il a récemment repris les entraînements individuels à Sassari, son club formateur où il avait fait son retour l'été dernier.
Dans un entretien exclusif, l'ailier a partagé son émotion profonde de retrouver le contact d'un ballon de basket. Il a également précisé que son retour à la compétition est soigneusement planifié et ne se fera qu'au début de la prochaine saison, soulignant l'importance d'une approche prudente et progressive.
"Retoucher un ballon après dix mois, c'était une sensation extraordinaire et profondément émouvante. Au début, c'était comme si je découvrais ce sport pour la toute première fois, mais, tir après tir, l'aisance et les réflexes sont revenus très vite. Je dois être extrêmement vigilant pour éviter toute blessure, c'est pourquoi les entraînements collectifs avec l'équipe ne débuteront qu'à partir de cet été. Il me faudra probablement deux ou trois ans avant d'avoir l'assurance totale qu'aucun risque ne subsiste."

It will likely take me two or three years to be completely certain that no risks remain."
