Adama Bal has officially made his entry into the NBA, securing a 10-day contract with the Memphis Grizzlies. Bal shares a unique connection with fellow Grizzlies player Rayan Rupert, as both previously played together for SCM Le Mans in their youth. A native of Le Mans, France, Bal's basketball journey includes stints with JALT Le Mans (where his father coached the NM2 team) and the Centre Fédéral, before he moved to the United States to play for the Universities of Arizona and Santa Clara, and later in the G-League.
