Shurmel articulated his ambitious career objectives, stating: "In the short term, my primary goal is to become part of the Spanish national team. For the mid-term, I aspire to join a top ACB team. Ultimately, my long-term ambition is to play in either the NBA or the Euroleague. Since I began training with the Pablo Laso Academy, I've seen substantial improvement in my low-post game, though I believe there's still much progress to be made."
His potential for a future in professional basketball, particularly the NBA, has already been widely acknowledged. The respected website Draftpoint has recognized his talent by including him among the top 10 European prospects in his age group, highlighting his promising trajectory in the sport.
