EWC 2026 PUBG: Schedule, Results, and Viewing Guide
The Esports World Cup (EWC) 2026, while relocated to Paris and free from its previous controversial association with Riyadh, continues to face criticism due to its funding from Saudi Arabian royalty. This funding is part of a broader initiative by the country to improve its image, despite its history of human rights violations, intolerance towards the LGBTI community, and disregard for women's rights. We want to state our objection to these circumstances before providing details about the PUBG Battlegrounds tournament at the EWC 2026.
The tournament is scheduled to commence on Tuesday, July 21, 2026.
Participating Teams

All PUBG Battlegrounds matches at the EWC 2026 will begin at the following times:
- Mexico: 5:00 a.m.
- Colombia, Peru, Ecuador: 6:00 a.m.
- Chile: 7:00 a.m.
- Argentina: 8:00 a.m.
- Spain: 1:00 p.m.
Group Stage
The initial group stage will take place from Tuesday, July 21 to Thursday, July 23, 2026. All PUBG Battlegrounds matches at EWC 2026 can be viewed on the official Esports World Cup YouTube channel or within the game section on the event's website, with times as follows: 5:00 a.m. (Mexico), 6:00 a.m. (Colombia), 7:00 a.m. (Chile), 8:00 a.m. (Argentina), and 1:00 p.m. (Spain).

Six series will feature teams including Virtus.Pro, AG.AL, DN SOOPers, Petrichor Road, TYLOO, Team Vitality, Full Sense, Shadow Esports, MiTH, Four Angry Men, Twisted Minds, Geekay Esports, Team Nemesis, Team Liquid, GAM Esports, and R8 Esports.

Six series will feature teams including Virtus.Pro, AG.AL, DN SOOPers, Petrichor Road, TYLOO, Team Vitality, Full Sense, Shadow Esports, MiTH, 17 Gaming, Natus Vincere, T1, Gen.G Esports, JD Gaming, Team Falcons, The Vicious Esports, and Sharper Esports.

The finals stage, determined by points, will run from Friday, July 24 to Sunday, July 26, 2026.
