New Images of Tifa Lockhart Play Arts Shin Figure from Final Fantasy VII Rebirth
During the recent Wonder Festival Winter 2026, one of Japan's largest figure exhibitions, Square Enix unveiled a new collection of figures from the Final Fantasy series. The display featured prototypes from Final Fantasy X, XII, and prominently, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. While initially only the Play Arts Shin version of Tifa Lockhart was seen behind glass, new detailed images have now emerged, providing a much closer look.
Although Tifa has already received four different Play Arts Kai figures from Final Fantasy VII Remake – in addition to four Static Arts figures, each representing a dress worn to meet Don Corneo – the sequel Rebirth introduces its own dedicated figure edition. While the character designs do not change significantly, this highly articulated figure captures Cloud's iconic companion with meticulous detail, showcasing her signature attire: red boots, modern thigh-high stockings, shorts, a pleated skirt, a sports bra and top, suspenders, long gloves, and her classic ponytail.
This Play Arts Shin collectible figure of Tifa Lockhart, inspired by Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, comes with several accessories. These include various interchangeable hand gestures and something particularly special: the flower that Cloud can optionally give her in Final Fantasy VII Remake, which he himself received from the mysterious and kind flower girl of Midgar.
As of now, a release date and price for this Tifa figure have yet to be announced. We will provide updates as soon as more details become available.
