The Springfield map from the The Simpsons collaboration with Fortnite was so well-received that its return was anticipated, and now it's back in Reload mode with an added John Wick crossover. Let's explore its features and new additions.

The Springfield and John Wick map will be available exclusively in Fortnite Reload mode from Thursday, August 30, 2026, until Monday, August 3rd. On that day, it will rotate alongside the Elite Fortress and Slurp Fury maps.

The map will be largely the same as the one introduced in late 2025, but with new elements, including the addition of "El Confidencial," a parody of the Continental Hotel from the John Wick films. Weapons and items from The Simpsons special season, such as the Mr. Revolver, the Quintuple Pistol, the Cartoon Chainsaw, the Deodorant Ray, and Bart's Slingshot, will also make a comeback.

Here's a summary of the new features coming to the Reload mode update:

Among other innovations, Reload mode will now support up to 50 players per match, and "El Confidencial" will be a special zone adhering to the film's rules. This is a neutral zone where combat is prohibited. However, this doesn't mean weapons can't be used, though there will be consequences.

Here are the characteristics of this new point of interest:

• Passive healing is enabled
• Proximity chat is enabled
• Combat is not allowed. If you attack someone, you will be excommunicated and marked for all players. An excommunicated player has unlimited resistance and increased reload speed. Only one excommunicated player can exist at a time. Eliminating an excommunicated player grants 1500 gold and higher quality loot.
