Where Are All the Twin Dolls in Fatal Frame II Remake?

One of the new collectibles added to the Remake of Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly are the twin dolls. In this guide, we will tell you where to find all 47 pairs of dolls hidden across the Minakami Village map.

As you collect these dolls, you will unlock new Amulets and Stickers for the photo mode, available in the 'Exchange Points' menu at the lamps where you save your game. However, simply unlocking them isn't enough; you must purchase them using points earned by photographing specters and defeating enemies.

For those unfamiliar with the original version of Fatal Frame II, we want to inform you that the twin dolls in the Remake, which we will be searching for in this guide, are a reference to the PlayStation 2 version's cover art. The ghost girls depicted are Akane and Azami Kiryu, two very important characters and enemies in the game.

Twin Doll Locations

There are 47 pairs of twin dolls hidden on the Minakami Village map in Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake. Your objective is to photograph them so that both dolls in each pair are captured in the same shot. Sometimes they are very close, posing no problem. In other cases, you'll find them widely separated or one of them hidden, requiring you to find the correct angle for the photo.

In this guide, we will show you the angle for each photo and the location of each doll pair. Please note that the numbering we use is the same as in the game, making it easier for you to find any missing ones, but this numbering does not indicate the order in which you should search for them.

In the Kimonos Room of the Osaka House. This is the first-floor room where you find the game's first save point.

To the right of the Kureha Shrine door, where one of the key parts is located.

They are a bit separated, but it's easy to focus on them both in the corners of the same photo.

In the Tsuchihara House, which is across from the Osaka House.

One is under the broken divider, and the other is on top of it.

They are inside the closet. To photograph both, you need to find an angle from the right side.
